Dear readers,
We hope you all are well and safe.
We would like to present our most recent progress and activities for the projects.
Our Italian consortium partner INRCA has proceeded to work on the database contents for the coaching services and have developed specific messages for each domain. They have also controlled and corrected the content as well as fixed links to external sources such as videos in the database.
End of October they have prepared the Compaan tablets for pilot trials and have recruited five participants for the months of November and December.
UNIVPM has been working on data analysis of the activities monitored with the iHealth watch worn by ageing people. The data is being analysed together with the questionnaires to identify the behaviour and well-being of the users using remote monitoring solutions, something that is very important in times of a pandemic.
Our Canadian partner, University of Toronto, has submitted an amendment to the University of Toronto Research Ethics Board outlining physically-distanced and remote methods for running the feasibility study in line with Ontario COVID-19 restrictions. There are various differences in measures taken against COVID-19 in different regions. Since the submission the city of Toronto has gone into a new lockdown from November 23rd until December 18th. The Compaan tablets containing RESILIEN-T have been received and prepared.
Meanwhile our consortium partners in the Netherlands have delivered the Compaan to the elderly, who are participating in the pilot trial in November and December. With the collaboration of Careyn, an article about the pilot will be published in the local newspaper.
Vilans in addition reports that the pilot trial has been proceeding well.
The Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne team has been busy interviewing the stakeholders to create a good overview of the current opinions and possibilities of financing and market entry in Switzerland.
GoldenAge has also started with the pilot trial in Switzerland.
We hope you all stay safe during this pandemic.
Your RESILIEN-T Team
